Oakleigh Park School of Swimming was established in 1975 and is a family business. We run lessons through the term time and then intensive courses through the holiday periods. We offer group lessons and private lessons. Usually, each half hour session has different classes of abilities, so if you have more than one ability in your family, you can swim at the same time rather than coming to different sessions. We pride ourselves on our warm water and small groups. Our ratios in junior and adult group classes are an absolute maximum of 6 to a teacher (we try and keep below this number) and also with an assistant in some classes.

We are a PADI Recreational Facility offering courses from snorkelling (6 years plus), PADI Seal Team (8 years plus) and Try Dives from 10 years through to adults.

We are a training centre for lifeguards and swimming teachers with awards from the STA and RLSS.

We are proud to be a member of The Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG), who champion the cause of healthy, safe, effective and practical standards for swimming pool water on behalf of its members, the industry and the swimming public.

The manager is Jonathan Rolfe. Swimming in the Rolfe family started in the 1950's and Jonathan's parents, Ron and Pam, have worked in swimming for over fifty years. They met when Ron taught Pam to swim! It was whilst teaching all those years ago they realised that teaching swimming in cold water and with the public all around was not working. Land was acquired at the tennis club in Whetstone, which is still on the same grounds in Oakleigh Road North and building commenced and opened in 1975.

In June 2014, we started offering lessons in our new pool in Woodside Park next to Frith Manor School. It is on the boundaries of Mill Hill, not too far from the Mill Hill East tube station. Postcode N12 7BN.

We strive to make sure that our customers' visit is an enjoyable, educational and motivating experience ensuring that they leave satisfied and excited in the swimmers progress. It is not unusual to find swimmers and teachers who have enjoyed our facilities for over 50 years.

We are also delighted to manage other pools in the area for commercial organisations, school pools and domestic pools.
